Online Casino - Video Poker Online RulesVideo Poker is a computerized version of standard 5-Card Draw Poker. The goal of video poker is to gain the highest ranked 5-card poker hand possible. Video Poker is a game against the house and not against the other players. In Video Poker the player is dealt 5 cards face up. The player then decides which cards to keep or "hold" and which cards to discard. The player simply clicks on each card he/she wishes to hold with the mouse. Then when the "Deal" button is clicked, new cards will be dealt where the discarded cards once appeared. The final hand determines whether the player wins or loses the game. Jacks or Better Poker is the most popular version of Video Poker. To win, you need a hand with a pair of Jacks or better (ergo the name). A 52-card deck is used and is reshuffled after each hand. Video Poker Rules - The Play You begin by choosing the value of the coins (from 25¢ to US$10) you will be playing with. You then select the number of coins (from 1 to 5) you will play on the next hand. You will be dealt five cards. You can keep or discard as many cards as you like, trying to improve your hand. To keep a card, click the "hold" button underneath the card or on the card itself. When you have selected the cards you want to hold, click on "deal/draw." The cards not being held are replaced with new cards. If your new set of cards contains a winning hand, you get paid.
